Our client, one of the leading Auto Insurance Carriers in the US, was burdened with a legacy middleware technology stack. The unstable legacy middleware system lacked the proper support, had limited reuse, and prevented the IT team from promptly responding to the changing business needs. To resolve the technical debt and delivery challenges, the carrier wanted to migrate the legacy services to the MuleSoft API Management Platform.
We began with an assessment and roadmap creation to migrate the legacy service to the MuleSoft platform. Our team leveraged its proprietary MuleSoft Conversion tool to analyze and convert the client’s IIB flows to MuleSoft. Using the Exavalu tool, more than 16+ IIB, APIC, and DataPower Services were analyzed in a few weeks rather than months. Based on the analysis, Exavalu developed a detailed migration plan and converted the API services to MuleSoft. We Migrated the services using Industry best practices for security and logging in less than six months. The use of our Proprietary API analysis tool resulted in a 50% savings on the analysis effort. We also reduced API maintenance costs by 40% by unifying multiple legacy technology platforms using MuleSoft. Last but not least, with an API-led connectivity design pattern, we enabled our clients to launch digital initiatives faster in the future.
